This might be one of the most typical “photographer stories” but I will share it anyway. When I knew I was going to be visiting Jaisalmer, I knew I had to check out Gadisar lake, that too at sunrise. I got up at around 4:30am, rushed off to the location, and set up my tripod and camera, ready to shoot. It was supposed to go well, but I was not too satisfied with my positioning, so I kept bouncing around between spots. Finally I found the right vantage point! and As I was taking shots as the sun was rising, the pigeons that were around the lake and monument, started to get up and fly around, just as I was getting a shot off. I have tons of pictures of this one spot, but this is early my favorite variant.
